Sifu Pete Jay started his martial arts career in St. Petersburg, Florida in 1993 in Wing Chun Do basics. After a hiatus from Wing Chun Do, he trained for several years in classical wing chun (Yip Man lineage), then resumed involvement in Wing Chun Do after attending a training camp hosted by Sijo James DeMile on the "Big Island" of Hawai'i. In 2002 he completed Basic Certification in Special Forces Combatives under James Webb and John Joyce in Pattaya, Thailand. He was certified as a Wing Chun Do Instructor in 2005 and currently runs Crows Roost Gung Fu in Seattle, Washington.
