I complained about how the Brazilian and Canadian stock markets are 93% owned by Brazilians and Canadians, but Koreans seem to hate their own stock market, having created a situation where foreigners own 44% of it—and way over 50% for some of the most valuable blue-chip companies.

This disequilibrium has led to a very strange alliance in Korea just in the last few days. Even though the IMF told the government eight weeks ago that Hostile M&A;was unlikely in Koreaa, in response to the Chey, Tae-Won problem at SK Corp., elderly Chaebol campaign-finance bigwigs have managed to persuade young Uri Party idealists they must leap to protect Korea from the illusory spectre of hostile foreign M&A;-- by passing legislation which protects the interest of the Chaebols. Somehow, the wealth-redistributing Uri Party Robin Hoods have been hoodwinked by the Chaebol Sheriff of Nottinghams! Who could have predicted that?

Supposedly to protect the economy and National Security, controlling shareholders will now be able to speed-launch dilutive rights offerings to boost friendly stakes, harming all outside shareholders. Soon, foreigners will have to register for approval of their voting intentions at Korea’s Ministry of Commerce. What comes next, tattooing numbers on us? Call me old-fashioned, but instead of foolishly fighting off the 44% foreign owners, another approach I’d suggest instead would be to get K

I will also need directions to said places from the subway if possible. I am hoping this thread will stay around so other Korea newbies like myself can use it in the future.

The game of spider is basically a kind of Patience or Solitaire, an ideal way to relax when you are all tensed up. It is played with two decks of cards. The cards are laid out in ten columns with 54 cards being dealt initially and the other 50 being dealt as required from a stock pile in the top left of the screen. At the start of the game 6 cards are dealt to the first 2 and last 2 piles, and 5 cards to each of the remaining piles with the top card facing up. The object of the game is to group all the cards in 13 card suits in descending order from King down to Ace, when they can be removed automatically from the column.

The Bermuda Triangle, also known as the Devil’s Triangle, is a region of the northwestern Atlantic Ocean in which a number of aircraft and surface vessels are alleged to have disappeared in mysterious circumstances which fall beyond the boundaries of human error, pirates, equipment failure, or natural disasters. Popular culture has attributed some of these disappearances to the paranormal, a suspension of the laws of physics, or activity by extraterrestrial beings

Today, I did a Google search to see if there was a forum dedicated to cocaine. Turns out, there is. The site even shows you how to make it, how to get high off it, how to cut it correctly etc. What plagues me is why do they turn to such hard drugs? The people on this forum say they’re addicts and proud of it, and don’t want to quit. There’s 25 pages of questions regarding how to get high off cocaine. Honestly, this drug is probably one of the most addictive drugs out there. This isn’t like weed where you can basically smoke all you want and not OD off it, this is serious shit here.
